Natwar Singh questioned

Special Correspondent

NEW DELHI: The Enforcement Directorate (ED) questioned former External Affairs Minister K. Natwar Singh on Friday in connection with the oil-for-food scam and the Volcker Report.

Well-placed sources said the ED officials questioned Mr. Singh for nearly two hours. They did not rule out the possibility of another round of questioning.

On Wednesday, the ED had impounded the passports of Mr. Natwar Singh's son Jagat Singh and four others. Sources say the ED, which has been probing the oil-for-food scandal for the past three months, is likely to complete investigations soon.
