Gate meeting held

VIJAYAWADA: In view of the postponement of proposed strike by Central Government employees from March 1, a gate meeting was organised by Vijayawada division of the South Central Railway Mazdoor Union (SCRMU) on Friday.

Divisional secretary of the union P. Swami Charan, addressing the meeting,

saidthe Joint Council of Action formed by employees of various Central Government departments had decided to meet again after two months. Divisional secretary of the South Central Employees' Sangh M. Bhaskara Rao and others were present.
