Bi-lingual board essential

Bi-lingual board essential

Refer report `Public seek bi-lingual boards on buses' ( The Hindu dated February 16). As Coimbatore is a cosmopolitan city, bi-lingual boards in buses are essential.

There is sizeable population of Keralities and Andhrites in the city and hence boards featuring Malayalam and Telugu can be displayed.

It would be a great relief to passengers if all the metros in the country fix bi-lingual boards.

When I go to Chennaieven though I know Tamil, I don't know where the bus goes. Can't the authorities help the public by writing them up in English and Tamil
