CD on temple released

BANGALORE: Congress President Sonia Gandhi recently released in New Delhi a CD that portrays the history and activities of Sri Gokarneshwara Temple at Kudholi in Mangalore, according to the former Pradesh Congress President B. Janardhana Poojary.

He told presspersons here on Saturday that Sri Narayana Guru established the temple in 1912. However, the temple was in a dilapidated state by 1989. Devotees donated generously and rejuvenated the temple in 1991.
