Law examination

Applications have been sought from eligible year-end candidates of ML/LLM and BL/LLB for registration of examination scheduled for March 24, according to AU joint registrar G. Gavara Raju. He said the last date for receipt of filled applications by the colleges concerned is February 28.

Spot counselling

Visu International Ltd. will conduct spot counselling and interviews for admission into various foreign institutes on Sunday from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. at 5/B, Vidisha, 4th floor, Dwarakanagar main road.

Talk on GD skills

Former General Manager of Hindustan Petroleum Corporation Ltd. P.K. Rao on Saturday gave a lecture on group discussion skills at a meeting conducted by the Department of Industrial Relations and Personnel Management. He said mock practices would enable students to fare well in group discussions.

Poster contest

Appointed

Visakha-II MLA S. Rangaraju was appointed as member of two State Steering Committees of the Jawaharlal Nehru National Urban Renewal Mission. Mr. Rangaraju was made member of the Steering Committee to decide the projects and priorities in the programmes to be taken up by the Department of Municipal Administration and Urban Development and also of the Steering Committee on basic services to the urban poor.
