BANGALORE: Chief Minister H.D. Kumaraswamy and Higher Education Minister D.H. Shankaramurthy on Saturday held a meeting with officials of the Common Entrance Test Cell. They said a calendar will be released within four days regarding conduct of the entrance test and admissions for professional courses for 2006-07. Mr. Kumaraswamy, Mr. Shankaramurthy, and Primary and Secondary Education Minister Basavaraj Horatti discussed various issues, including seat-sharing and fee structure, with the officials. Later, addressing presspersons, Mr. Shankaramurthy said the Government will hold a meeting with Consortium of Medical, Engineering and Dental Colleges of Karnataka (COMED-K) and representatives of private college managements in a week to chalk out a formula to end the imbroglio on admissions.
