U.K. Minister visits Cable and Wireless

Bangalore: Minister for Science and Innovation, United Kingdom, Lord Sainsbury began his visit to Bangalore on Saturday at Cable and Wireless, the leading global telecom and networking company.

In India to promote closer relations between the two countries in the fields of science and information technology, Lord Sainsbury toured the local facilities of the U.K. headquartered Cable and Wireless.

The employees showed him how they continuously monitor and manage their customers' complex communications networks, ensuring consistently high quality of service.

He also watched a demonstration of call escalation management which showed the swift and effective manner in which issues are resolved.

The Cable and Wireless team in India works closely with colleagues around the world to provide 24/7 network management and customer support, according to the company.
