Crafts Bazaar opens

Staff Reporter

CHENNAI: The ornate `oonjal' at the Crafts Bazaar swept actress Sneha off her feet.

The actress carefully went through the collection of handloom saris with their intricate weaves and designs after inaugurating the Craft-Bazaar at Guild of Service on Saturday.

The exhibition cum sale features handcrafted wooden furniture in all sizes and shapes — from low stools, chairs and tables to mirrors with elaborate carvings. The wide range of textiles on offer includes saris, kurtis, short tops and dress material.

Wall hangings

Those who want a quick revamp of their living rooms can shop for wall hangings and curios in metal.

The handlooms and handicrafts fair Craft Bazaar is on at Guild of Service, 18/28, Casa Major Road, Egmore till February 28.
