Rousing welcome to Eshwarappa, Shankaramurthy

SHIMOGA: Workers of the Bharatiya Janata Party accorded a rousing reception to Minister for Water Resources K.S. Eshwarappa and Minister for Higher Education D.H. Shankaramurthy on Monday evening at Malavagoppa on the outskirts of the city, on their first visit to the city after assuming office.

They were taken in a procession in an open jeep to the party office. On their way to the party office, the Ministers offered prayers at the Kote Seetharam Anjaneyaswamy Temple and the Kannika Parameshwari temple at Gandhi Bazar.

They were felicitated by the party workers near the party office.

Those who received the Ministers included president of the district BJP M.B. Bhanu Prakash and president of the City unit S.N. Channabasappa.
