UCO Bank introduces retail sales force

CHENNAI: UCO Bank is introducing a retail sales force in select metros to strengthen its retail banking activity. Launching the facility "project sunshine" in Chennai on Tuesday, S. A. Bhat, Executive Director, said the bank has already implemented the facility in Bangalore and Nagpur and Chennai is the third metropolitan city. Soon the bank will be launching this facility in Howrah, Mr. Bhat said. K. Vijhayan, Workmen Director, said the bank had reached the seventh position in the country and was hopeful of crossing the Rs. 100,000-crore mark in respect of total business by March this year.
