Madikeri: There is no need to panic over the death of pigeons reported in Kushalnagar in Kodagu district on Monday, Motaiah, Assistant Director of the Department of Animal Husbandry, said here on Tuesday. Dr. Motaiah said the birds could have died long ago as the APMC building where they were found has been remaining closed for many years. The dead birds were found when a portion of the building was cleaned up on Monday. Deputy Commissioner said a meeting will held at 12-30 p.m. at Old Assembly Hall on Wednesday to discuss the issue of bird flu.
