NJR inspects barrage works

Nellore: Former Chief Minister and Visakhapatnam M.P., N. Janardhana Reddy, inspected the ongoing barrage works at Vakadu, Nellore, on Tuesday.

The works received a big boost Rs. 38 crores was sanctioned in the State budget. Mr. Reddy who expressed satisfaction at the works, however advised the engineers to ensure steps to store water at the earliest. Mr. Janardhana Reddy was accompanied by N. Padmanabha Reddy, AICC member, Indira Congress Bhavan secretary, T. Balasudhakar, RDO, Gudur, K. Subramanyam Reddy, DSP, Devadanam and a number of others. Later he left for Hyderabad.
