Pune: Rahul Ganapathy on Tuesday warmed up for the main event of the Hero Honda Western Open by leading his team to victory in the pro-am held here. Ganapathy and his team of-amateurs Padmaja Shrike and Ramesh Murjani aggregated 118 stableford points to finish as the winners. Kolkata pro Yusuf Ali and amateurs Percy Contractor and Meher Nicholson finished second with 114 stableford points, while Sanjay Kumar and his team comprising Jaideep Barve and Rohit Suri were third with 109 points. Rahul, Yusuf and Sanjay received Rs 5,000, Rs 3,000 and Rs 2,000, respectively, for being the professionals in their respective teams. — UNI
