THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: The 51st State senior hockey championship will be held at the Central Stadium here from February 24 to 27, with 13 teams in the fray for the top honours. Releasing the groupings and fixtures of the four-day event on Tuesday, the KHA secretary, N. Ramesh Kolappa said holder SAI, Kollam and runner-up and host Thiruvananthapuram have been drawn in Pool A and D respectively. The tournament will witness the participation of all districts barring Alappuzha and Palakkad. The toppers of the four pools will qualify for the semifinals to be held on February 26. The Kerala team for the National championship will be chosen from this championship. The groupings: Pool A: SAI, Kollam, Wayanad, Malappuram, Thrissur. Pool B: Ernakulam, Kottayam, Kasaragod. Pool C: Kollam, Kannur, Pathanamthitta. Pool D: Thiruvananthapuram, Kozhikode, Idukki. — Special Correspondent
