Demonstration held against Danish cartoonist

PONDICHERRY: A large number of Muslims held a demonstration in front of the Head Post office here on Tuesday condemning the Danish cartoonist who had ridiculed the Prophet Mohammed. The demonstrators wanted severe action against the cartoonist and said no section of people ridiculing and lampooning the Prophet would be tolerated.

A. Peer Mohammed the spokesperson of the Pudhuvai Thouheed Jamad said in a release that none would be pardoned for any objectionable action and derogatory cartoon.
