CHENNAI: The Aeronautical Society of India (Chennai branch) in association with the Department of Aerospace Engineering, Madras Institute of Technology (MIT), Anna University, is to organise a national conference on "Recent Advances in Computational Methods in Aerospace Engineering" on February 24 and 25 at the MIT Campus, Chennai. The Conference will be inaugurated by the Vice-Chancellor, Anna University, D. Viswanathan. K. Ramachandra, Director, GTRE Bangalore is the keynote speaker.
Lectures
Invited lectures on computational methods in aerospace engineering will be delivered by eminent persons such as E.G. Tulapurkara of the Indian Institute of Technology, Madras (IIT-M), Paneerselvam, Project Director, Defence Research and Development Laboratory (DRDL), Hyderabad, R.K. Ramanathan, Project Director, Aeronautical Development Establishment (ADA), Bangalore, and K. Jayaraman of Anna University. Besides the lectures, more than 20 technical papers will be presented from research and academic institutions such as aeronautical, and defence research organisation and research laboratories besides academic institutions.
Recent developments
The conference will focus on the recent developments in computational methods in the areas of aerospace engineering.
