ADILABAD: The timing for this year's SSC exams -- being conducted from March 20 to April 4 - has been changed. The exams will be from 9.30 a.m. to 12 noon owing apparently to the hot weather. In all, 37,178 students would be taking the common board exams this year, which includes 5,784 students appearing as private candidates. At a preparatory meeting on the SCC exams it was decided to order closure of all photocopying centres in the vicinity of the 160 centres in the district during the exam hours. Section 144 would also be promulgated in the vicinity of these centres to prevent malpractice.
RTC service
A nurse and an attendant would be present at each exam centre as per the orders issued to the District Medical and Health Department. The RTC has been ordered to run services to suit students and the Transco has been asked to maintain power supply during the exam hours.
