Remove illegal structures: court

HYDERABAD: A Division Bench of the Andhra Pradesh High Court on Tuesday directed authorities to remove illegal structures in the areas meant for parking in various buildings in the city.

The Bench was dealing with a case wherein specific complaint that illegal structures were coming up at Begumpet area was made. The Bench directed that the committee constituted by the Government to study deviations and violations of building regulations submit a report within a month.

The Bench felt that officials like Commissioner and those holding functional positions regarding demolitions should not be shifted out of the present places of posting.
