Dog found dragging body of a baby

HYDERABAD: Workers of the Government Maternity Hospital, Nayapul, wereshocked to find a dog dragging the body of a baby boy lying in a corner of a park late on Monday night and alerted the Charminar police.

In a complaint lodged with the police, the hospital authorities said the parents might have dumped the body in the park after the baby boy died, apparently within hours of delivery. Police booked a case of suspicious death and shifted the body for autopsy. "There were no injuries on the body," Charminar Inspector P.R. Kosalram said.
