Make use of credit packages, exporters told

KOCHI:
V. A.Yousuf, vice-president of the Kerala Chamber of Commerce and Industry, said the various credit facilities and other financial packages offered by banks for exporters should be made use of.
He was addressing a seminar on emerging trends in export credit here on Saturday.
The seminar was organised by the southern regional office of the Federation of Indian Export Organisations, an apex export promotion body set up by the Ministry of Commerce, Government of India, in association with the Kerala Chamber of Commerce and Industry.
Mr.Yousuf said the recently announced projects to improve infrastructural development of port and other sectors would give an impetus to boost exports from Kerala.
