HP's laser colour printing systems

BROADENS PORTFOLIO: Vibhor Bansal, Country Category Manager, HP colour lasers and business inkjets, unveiling the company's laser printing system in Bangalore on Wednesday.

HP India has launched a broad portfolio of colour laser printing systems and solutions aimed at small and medium business (SMBs).
The colour laser printer market in India for 2005 was 15,434 units (a 100 per cent growth over 2004) and this is expected to treble over the next four years, Vibhor Bansal, Country Category Manager, Colour Laser Jets, Imaging and Printing Group, HP India Sales Pvt. Ltd, told reporters here.
HP India currently has a market share of 89 per cent in the colour laser printer market. "Sixty to 70 per cent in unit terms (of the new products) should come from the SMB customers," he said.
