Book containing M. Krishnan's photographs and writings released

CHENNAI:
The chronicler of the natural world has been commemorated in print.
Eye in the Jungle: M. Krishnan: Photographs and Writings on pioneering naturalist M. Krishnan's work was released at The Bookpoint on Saturday.
S. Theodore Bhaskaran presented the first copies to M.V. Murugappan of the Murugappa Group of Companies and Harikrishnan, son of M. Krishnan.
Eye in the Jungle ... is a special commemorative edition of some of M. Krishnan's best photographs and writings published by Universities Press (India).
It has been compiled by Ashish, Shanthi, Chandola and T.N.A. Perumal, who have tried to feature some of the lively and anecdotal text for which Krishnan was well known.
The hardbound, which has been printed in a limited edition of 1,500 copies, also includes a biographical sketch of M. Krishnan by Ramachandra Guha.
