Staff Reporter

Girglani Commission exceeded its brief, says MLA

HYDERABAD: Two Congress MLAs, Gade Venkat Reddy and Mandali Buddha Prasad, and Payyavula Keshav of the Telugu Desam, besides leaders of the Andhra Pradesh Non-Gazetted Officers Association regretted that political forces were trying to ignite passions in the name of region.

At a seminar on the Girglani Commission's report and G.O. 610 organised by APNGOs Association here on Wednesday, most speakers, including Congress MLAs, said it was not proper for Government to have taken a sudden decision without taking the NGOs into confidence.
