KURNOOL: Democratic Youth Federation of India (DYFI) organised a road blockade here on Thursday demanding the Stat Government to constitute DSC 2006 to fill up teacher vacancies. The protesters held up traffic at Rajvihar centre. The DYFI leaders T. Kranti Kumar and A. Nagaraju said though 60,000 vacancies existed across the State, the government was claiming that only 14,000 posts were vacant to avoid recruitment. They said the government was going back on its promise of creating jobs for youth in two years after coming to power. The DYFI leaders threatened to intensify the agitation if the government failed to fill up vacancies in the State.
