Deutsche Bank buys bad debts

NEW DELHI: Foraying into India's stressed asset business, Deutsche Bank on Thursday bought non-performing assets (NPAs) worth Rs. 75 crore from Asset Reconstruction Company of India. The bank acquired 100 per cent of the Security Receipts in respect of a portfolio of NPAs of an Indian bank with a face value of Rs. 75 crore beating other contenders, the bank said in a release.
