No power cut in Tirumala

HYDERABAD: Tirumala will be insulated from any impact of present power shortage in the State. Uninterrupted 24-hour power supply will be ensured to the holy town. An action programme has been chalked out by the southern discom in whose jurisdiction Tirumala is located to avoid power cut for Tirupati also. P. Gopala Reddy, CMD, who was here on Thursday, said that efforts were on to exempt Vijayawada, Guntur and Nellore in the company's operation area from load shedding.
