DAVANGERE: G. Parameshwar, Congress leader and former Minister, said candidates for the 11 Teachers' constituencies in the State will be finalised in a week. The party is weighing the ability of each aspirant and his involvement in the field of education and his association with the party before selection, he said. Talking to presspersons here on Thursday, Mr. Parameshwar, said he had toured Chitradurga, Kolar and Tumkur districts and gathered the opinions of the party leaders about the aspirant candidates. He said the party would finalise the list of candidates for all the 11 council seats from the Teachers' constituencies in one week. The elections will be held in June.
