Dry weather likely in T.N.

CHENNAI: Dry weather prevailed over Tamil Nadu, Andhra Pradesh, Karnataka, Kerala and Lakshadweep.

The minimum temperature fell appreciably at a few places over coastal Karnataka, at one or two places over north interior Karnataka, north coastal Andhra Pradesh, fell at one or two places over north Tamil Nadu, Kerala, rose appreciably over rest interior Karnataka, rose over rest south interior Karnataka, south Tamil Nadu and changed little elsewhere over the region.

They were largely below normal over south interior Karnataka, markedly below normal over north Tamil Nadu, appreciably below normal over Rayalaseema, north interior Karnataka, below normal over rest Tamil Nadu, coastal Karnataka, rest Rayalaseema, over north coastal Andhra Pradesh, appreciably above normal over rest north interior Karnataka, above normal over Telangana, rest south interior Karnataka and generally normal over rest of the region.

FORECAST (valid until Saturday morning): Mainly dry weather will prevail over Tamil Nadu, Pondicherry, Kerala, Lakshadweep, Andhra Pradesh and Karnataka.
