KARIMNAGAR: BJP senior leader and former Union Minister Ch Vidyasagar Rao will formally launch the `Palle Pilupu' programme of the party from Mughdumpur village of Karimnagar mandal on February 25.

Stating this to newsmen here on Thursday, BJP Kisan Morcha District President B Jaganmohan Rao said that during the programme, the party would interact with villagers and enquire about their problems.

Expressing concern over irregular power supply to the farming community, he demanded that the Government provide power supply during the morning hours to protect the ID crops. He also demanded the Government to provide SRSP water to the farmers during the rabi till April-end.

He alleged large-scale irregularities in the development of Elgandal fort and wanted the administration to take steps in this regard and transform the fort into a tourist spot.

He also urged the administration to take measures for opening of a primary health centre (PHC) in Mughdumpur village, which will benefit the six surrounding villages of Karimnagar mandal.
