Training for youth promised

Lt. General Arvind Mahajan, Commandant of MCEME, called on Hyderabad District Collector Arvind Kumar and assured him of extending all possible help in imparting training for the youth to improve their physical standards to enable them to take the physical test for getting into defence services.

BSNL customer meet

The monthly customer meet of the Bharat Sanchar Nigam Limited will be held on February 27 from 10.30 a.m. at all the area manager offices, according to a press release.

Electricity bills

The Central Power Distribution Company has announced that cash counters will be kept open up to 5 p.m. at VST, Azamabad, till February 28, including on `Mahasivaratri' (February 26) to enable customers to pay their electricity bills.

`Awards day'function

All Saints High School, celebrating 150 years, is holding awards day on February 25 at 9.30 a.m. on the school premises at Gun Foundry.

Yoga training

International Ved Pratishthan has unanimously elected Swami Ramdev its president at its general body meeting held recently. The organisation will hold yoga and pranayam training at Ved Mandir premises in Sultan Bazar under the guidance of two teachers trained at Patanjali Yogapeeth, Hairdwar.
