Assembly debate and public interest

The final session of 11th Kerala Assembly on Tuesday evoked much interest among the public. Many citizens were glued to television sets to watch the debate on two controversial KSEB-SNC Lavalin deals unfold.

The speeches made by Power Minister Aryadan Mohammed and the former Power Minister Kadavoor Sivadasan evoked much interest.

For first time in the history of the Assembly, the discussion on both the Governor's Address to the House and that on the 2006-07 Budget were telecast live.
