Free knee check-up camp

MANGALORE: A free check-up camp for knee replacement and arthroscopy organised by A.J. Hospital and Research Centre on the hospital premises at Kuntikan was launched here on Thursday.

The former Indian senior football team captain Joe Paul Ancheri inaugurated the camp. The organisers have extended the camp duration till March end as against March 4 owing to the overwhelming response.

Sudarshan Bhandary, Head of Department of Sports Medicine, said the hospital will carry out the surgery at a reduced cost and arthroscopy will be done free of cost.
