Fashion show

MICROBES AND fashion: This was what the fashion show by 30 students of the International Fashion Trends and Technology Institute here was all about. Micro-organisms such as Streptococcus and the genetic factors behind cancer cells inspired some of the designs, the students said. The show was held at Chowdiah Memorial Hall.

The event was coordinated by Ikbal of I-fashion and choreographed by Salman Shariff of the institute. The "Fold Unfold" theme based on origami, the art of creating objects from paper, won the first prize.
