World's longest rail from Bhilai

BHILAI: The first consignment of 260-metre-long rail, the longest rail produced by any rail manufacturer in the world, was flagged off from the public sector Bhilai Steel Plant (BSP) on Friday. The rake carrying 650 tonnes of long rails was sent to the Indian Railways at Andal in West Bengal, a BSP spokesman said.
