Voters' ID card centres for Coimbatore West and East Assembly constituencies

Schedule for Coimbatore West for February 27 and 28 will be published on Sunday


  • Voters will be photographed from 7 a.m. to 8 p.m. on all days
  • Form-001 with all details will be provided two or three days ahead of the date of issue of the card

    COIMBATORE: The Coimbatore Corporation has informed that photographing of voters for issuing Electors' Photo Identity Card (EPIC) will begin on February 25 in the Coimbatore West and Coimbatore East Assembly constituencies.

    The process would end on March 24 for Coimbatore West and on March 20 for Coimbatore East, a Corporation press release said. Voters would be photographed from 7 a.m. to 8 p.m. on all days. Form-001 with all details of the voters would be provided at their address two or three days ahead of the date of issue of the card. Voters should take this to the Designated Photo Location Centres (polling stations).

    Following are the centres for Coimbatore East constituency:

    Corporation Higher Secondary School, V.K. Krishnan Road, Sidhapudur: Part 1: Ward No.18: Venkatasamy Road (Sidhapudur); Part 2: Ward No.29: Thirumalaisamy Street, N.G. Narayanasamy Street, Chinnasamy Street; Part 3: Ward No.29: Housing Unit, Gandhipuram, Rangaraj Layout, Ravindharanath Layout, Ambika Layout, Police Quarters, Refugees Colony; Part 7: Ward No.18: Bhagavath Singh Road; Ward No.29: B.K. Ranganathan Street No.1 and 2, Thiruvalluvar Street, Elango Nagar Street No.1 and 2.

    Government Women's Polytechnic, Bharathiar Road, Papanaickenpalayam: Part 4: Ward No.18: Nandhagopal Street 1 to 3, Manthiriappan Street, Govindhasamy Huts, Bharathiar Road, New Annapoorna Layout, Lakshmana Landmark, Government Women's Polytechnic campus; Part 9: Ward No.18: Venkatasamy Road, Haripuram, Chinnasamy Road; Part 73: Ward No.26: Armed Reserve Quarters, Balasundaram Road.
