ICAR to conduct entrance examination

CHENNAI: The Indian Council of Agricultural Research (ICAR) will conduct an all-India entrance examination for admission to undergraduate programmes in Agriculture and allied subjects on May 7.

Candidates who qualify would be admitted to any of the State agriculture universities. A scholarship of Rs. 1,000 a month would also be given to them.

Application forms and other details are available at the Agricultural College and Research Institute, Tamil Nadu Agricultural University, Coimbatore, upto March 17. Application forms may be purchased against payment of Rs. 410 (general category) and Rs. 210 (for SC/ST/PH categories).
