CHANDIGARH: The Haryana Education Minister, Phool Chand Mullana, on Saturday made it clear to the teachers in the State that those trying to bring bad name to the pious relation between the teacher and the pupil would be shunted out. He also directed the senior officers of the Education Department to regularly inspect schools to ensure that teachers discharged their duties diligently. Addressing the officers of the Education Department in a meeting at Karnal, he urged them to take necessary action against the culprits to prevent any untoward incident in the schools. The sacred student-teacher relation had been maligned by the ugly activities of some teachers. Such teachers would not be tolerated and the Government would take strict action against them.
