KOZHIKODE: The campaign with the slogan `Nadhane Ariyuka Nalayude Rakshakku' organised by the Mujahid Students Movement (MSM) concluded here on Sunday. The public meeting that began at 4.30 p.m. at the beach here was inaugurated by Shaikh Abdulla Abdul Muhsin Alusheikh, director, religious affairs department, Saudi Arabia. Usman Dennis Barry, noted Islamic scholar from the United Kingdom and P.K. Kunhalikutty, former Minister, also spoke. Usman Dennis Barry said on Saturday that the protests against the controversy surrounding the publication of cartoon of Prophet Muhammed was owing to the fact that the cartoon amounted to abuse of Islam. Mr. Barry, who was in the city to attend the valedictory function of the campaign of Mujahid Students Movement, told reporters that there is a difference between criticism and abuse. Muslims will tolerate criticism of Islam but not its abuse. But he said that the protestors should be protesting as Muslims and not as fanatics.
