Woman naxalite surrenders

VISAKHAPATNAM: A senior member of Chitrakonda Local Guerrilla Squad (LGS) of CPI (Maoist) Pongi Lingo alias Syamala, 22, surrendered before V.V. Srinivasa Rao, Superintendent of Police.

In spite of her ill health for two years, the Maoist leadership paid no attention and paying heed to her family members plea, she surrendered. Mr. Rao said necessary medical help would be extended and Government aid under rehabilitation package woulld be given to her.
