Suspect in IISc attack to undergo narco analysis

BANGALORE: The police will subject Abdul Rehaman, a suspect in the December 28 attack on the Indian Institute of Science (IISc), to narco analysis on Monday.

According to the police, Rehaman has been taken into police custody for three days by the Sadashivnagar police.

Arrested

The Cottonpet police have arrested K. Lakshminarayana Chari alias Tailor Babu, resident of Madanapalli, Andhra Pradesh on cheating charge. He had purchased a bronze Ardhanareeshwara sculpture weighing 10 kg a year ago by paying Rs. 3,500, and was trying to sell it at Rs. 3.5 lakhs claiming it to be an antique on Saturday, the police said.
