Minister offers support to fire accident victims

SHIMOGA: Minister for Water Resources K.S. Eshwarappa visited Haramaghatta, near Holaluru, in Shimoga taluk on Sunday and offered his support to those who were rendered homeless in a recent fire accident.

Nearly 80 families lost their houses in the fire. He said he will discuss with the district administration the issue of compensation, provision for food grains and reconstruction of houses damaged in the fire.
