Kanbay wins trophy

Kanbay won the Challengers Trophy cricket tournament defeating Coca Cola by 72 runs in the final.

The scores: Kanbay 136 for five (Dilip 48) bt Coca Cola 59.

Easy win for GSI

Geological Survey of India (GSI) recorded a nine-wicket win against NGRI in the Satish Dhawan Space Cup cricket tournament.

The scores: NGRI 111 lost to GSI 112 for one (Seshasai 41); DRDL 122 for nine lost to BHEL (R & D) 124 for five; NIC 83 lost to NRSA 84 for no loss (Chandrasekhar 61 not out); NIN 111 for eight lost to ASL 112 for five (Kannan 42).

Harish cracks century

A fine century by A. Shiva Harish (136 not out) helped Raju Cricket Academy Seniors score a nine-wicket win against Roots in the Hyderabad District league cricket championship.

The scores: Roots 232 (Noor Ali 41, Abhinav four for 12) lost to Raju CA Sr 235 for one (A. Shiva Harish 136 not out, Abhinav 48 not out); Vivekananda 197 (Y.L.S. Abhinav four for 22) bt Bunty CC 198 for nine (Gautam 42, Puneeth four for 22).
