Power shutdown today, tomorrow

Power supply will be affected between 10.30 a.m. and 5.30 p.m. on Tuesday and Wednesday in Kemp Road, Hynes Road, Wheeler Road, Mosque Road, Coles' Road, Promenade Road, Sindhi Colony, Assaye Road, Budda Vihar Road, M.M. Road, Cox Town, Moore Road, Robertson Road, Lazar Road and surrounding areas, due to maintenance works being carried out by the Bangalore Electricity Supply Company.

Summer school in astronomy

The M.P Birla Institute of Fundamental Research will conduct a summer school in Astronomy and Astrophysics for students of 8th, 9th and 10th standards during the summer vacation of 2006. Free exam coaching

Beautician training

The Small Industries Services Institute will conduct a month-long entrepreneurship development programme on beautician training for women on its premises in Rajajinagar. Material inputs such as setting up a Small Scale Industry (SSI), costing and pricing, managing a SSI and marketing management will be part of the programme.
