UTI Bank opens branch

IN NEW TERRITORY: UTI Bank President R.K. Niyogi inaugurating the Gulbarga City branch of the bank at Jawali Complex in Gulbarga on Tuesday.

GULBARGA: The UTI Bank opened its first branch at Jawali Complex in Super Market area here on Tuesday.

R.K. Niyogi, President of UTI Bank, Bangalore, who inaugurated the branch, said the setting up of the bank branch in Gulbarga was another step towards extensive consumer banking focus provided by the bank.

The UTI Bank has 336 branches, 95 extension counters and 1,869 ATMs across the country. He said the bank's branches in 246 cities and towns enabled the bank to reach out to its customers.

One of the features of the bank's operation was its centralised database which enabled the customers to operate their accounts from anywhere in the country.
