`More opportunities available to students today than ever before'

HUBLI: Minister for Primary and Secondary Education Basavaraj S. Horatti has called upon students to develop communication skills to excel in life.

He was speaking at the valedictory function of "Aavishkar-06," a national-level management festival, organised by the KLE Society's College of Business Administration here.

Underscoring the need for students to hone their skills, Mr. Horatti said unlike in the past, students have many opportunities now. He called upon them to make the best use of the opportunities. Om Prakash Rao, Commissioner, Transport Department, said that though information technology has enabled easy access to information, only hard work can ensure success. He called upon students to contribute to the development of society.

S.C. Metagudda, a member of the Board of Management, KLE Society, spoke. Shankaranna Munavalli, president, Karnatak Chamber of Commerce and Industry, presided over the function. Principal P.B. Roodagi welcomed the gathering.
