Sydney: India slumped to its third loss of the series against Australia, losing by nine wickets in the third and final women's ODI at Adelaide on Tuesday. The loss capped a disastrous performance by the Indians, who lost the ODI series 0-3 after the innings defeat in the one-off Test. Chasing a target of 129, skipper Karen Rolton (56) and Alex Blackwell (63 not out) scored half centuries to steer the hosts to an easy victory with 15.4 overs to spare. Earlier, Indian batswomen could only muster 128 for seven. Though openers Jaya Sharma (23) and Anjum Chopra (22) made steady starts, nobody else, barring Reema Malhotra (27), could make a decent score. Brief scores: India 128 for seven lost to Australia 129 for one (A. Blackwell 63 not out, Rolton 56 not out). UNI
