KPSC announces final list

Bangalore: The Karnataka Public Service Commission, in line with the directions of the Supreme Court, on Tuesday announced the final list of candidates selected for 383 Group `A' and `B' posts, the selection process for which began in 1998. The list was finalised after a long legal battle.

KPSC Chairman H.N. Krishna said all the successful candidates will get the seniority they should have got had their recruitment been finalised in 1998. The KPSC will send the final list of candidates to the Government, which will despatch the appointment orders.

Mr. Krishna said the KPSC published the eligible list of candidates on November 23, 2005. It called the candidates for an interview between December 26, 2005 and February 8, 2006.
