A perfect 10 for Chidambaram
NEW DELHI:
Finance Minister P. Chidambaram's wife Nalini gave him ten out of ten for what she described as a ``good budget.''
``It's a good budget. I knew the budget will be good because he knows the pulse of the people,'' Ms. Nalini, who witnessed her husband presenting the budget from the visitors' gallery in the Lok Sabha, told a news portal.
Their son Karthik, daughter-in-law Srinidhi Raghavan and Mr. Chidambaram's brother were present in the Speaker's Gallery. Ms. Nalini said her husband was not at all tense and worried this morning. ``He is used to presenting the budget. It's nothing new for him.''
Asked to rate the budget on a balance of 1-10, she said she would give him ten out of ten. — UNI
