Arrest of Christian leaders condemned

Kakinada: Various Christian organisations denounced the arrest of CBCNC leaders here, who were protesting against the "illegal demolition drive" and construction of a new compound wall intruding into the premises of some Christian educational institutionsby the city planning wing authorities. These leaders alleged that the police had arrested the Christian leaders at the behest of the local MLA. They wanted the Government to order a probe into the demolition drive in the city on the pretext of road widening
