BANGALORE: A 45-year-old painter was killed when a lorry knocked down the bicycle he was riding near Yogeshwara Nagar in Yelahanka traffic police station limits on Monday night. Police gave the name of the deceased as Shayam of Tannery Road. The lorry driver was arrested.
Burgled
Ornaments worth Rs. 20,000 were stolen from a house in Lakshmidevi Nagar in Rajagopal Nagar police station limits on Monday night. According to police, S. Kumar locked the house and went to a hospital to visit his a relative. When he returned he found that somebody had entered his house. Gold and other articles were stolen from a house in Ganganagar Main Road on Monday. Ananda Rao had gone to Chennai.
